My husband and I both take this product with our high-histamine meals as we both have symptoms of histamine intolerance. It's one of our must have supplements. We take a higher doseage if the meal is particularly high in histamine. Much cheaper than DAO and great quality. People have commented about the smell (it is beef kidney, after all). We don't mind the odor or taste of it. The benefits outweigh the mild (mild to us mind you) aroma.
